US/UK PSN stores for international gamers (or “How I stopped worrying and learned to love Entropay”)

In an earlier post, Cow_Shed mentioned that it is possible to use a service called Entropay to get around using your own country’s Playstation Store. Basically, you put money on a virtual credit card (either in American dollars, or British pounds), and Entropay charges you a service fee of 4.95%*.

No? Well you probably aren’t Canadian then. However I happen to be located in the great white north and every Thursday when I get my trusty Playstation store update email and then go to actually purchase I’m reminded of the unfair pricing that is happening to Canadians.
