WISHLIST: PSN (part one)

Lately, I’ve been more excited about the PSN titles than any of the full-blown ones that have been coming out for the PS3. This probably has something to do with the fact thought I bought a PSP (and can play the PSone ports on it) and the fact that the last PS3 game I played was Heavenly Sword and the intermittent, though extreme, suck drained me of some good-will. Here are a few games I’d like to see show up on the PSN.
Oddworld: Abe’s Oddysee: Poor spelling aside, this game’s unique puzzle-platformer style always made me regret being a Nintendo owner back in the day. A straight port of this game that I could throw on my PSP would be phenomenal.
Earthworm Jim: I’d love it if Interplay took the Capcom route. It’s looking very likely that a new EJ is on it’s way and what better way to promote than with a refurbed, 3D-rendered, side-scrolling release of the original game. Granted, this wouldn’t be playable on the PSP (at least not without remote play), but the sacrifice would be worth it just for the new graphics. On second thought, I’m not sure if I’d prefer new 3D graphics a la Bionic Commando or new hand-drawn sprites (SSF2THDR).
Oh, and Final Fantasy VII for good measure.

Although not entirely relevant, I’d love to see a 2D mega man either remade or a new entry in the Zero series from GBA make its way to the PSN.
